If your answer to any of these questions is 'Yes!', then come to the next

NLS: (Natural Laughter Skills) evening workshop.

Next meeting: Tuesday 21st February 2012, 7.30-9pm, Unitarian Chapel, Brunswick Square, BS2 8PE

You will experience an energising NLS: Natural Laughter Skills workout with:

  • laughter yoga,
  • invigorating breathing, posture & stretches,
  • lots & lots of light-hearted laughter exercises,
  • and laughter meditation - a long sustained laugh!

'Laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine.'(Byron)

'Ta muchly for making my face ache and shoulders shake.' Polly.

If you'd like to explore further, the next Laughter Retreat is 18-20th May in south Devon.

If you'd like to learn these skills, the next course is 23/24 February, in London. The course after that is 27/27 April.

We've featured on BBC1, Discovery Channel, BBC2, Radio 4 and at Cheltenham Science Festival (three times). We've chatted with Johnny Walker on Radio 2, and led the UK's 1st National Sponsored Laugh-a-thon with the British Heart Foundation.

It led to the UK's only Laughter Facilitation skills course, endorsed by Laughter Yoga founder Dr Madan Kataria, and part of the Laughter Network's training programme.

Come and be part of something, 3rd Tuesdays, monthly. No previous laughing experience required.

"He is able to capture, reassure and infect a large audience. He transformed us from a group of 130 tired, nervous skeptics to a room full of beaming, open hearted companions.
Within minutes of his session opening, the energy levels in the conference hall changed.
Bodies relaxed, spirits were lifted and we connected, naturally and simply with the people beside and around us. When the next formal conference session started, we were open, ready, receptive and full of energy and optimism.”

'I just wanted to let you know how I have been getting on since I came to the last Laughter Club meeting in September. I have been following your instructions to smile first thing every morning and last thing at night. Wonderful!

I have to say that I have felt a real change in me. My face seems lighter and I feel more positive.

Last week whilst reading the news on Bristol hospital Radio my fellow news-reader read a funny story and I laughed until I cried and neither of us could finish the news through constant giggling. I do not remember the last time that I laughed that much and I wanted to thankyou for giving me courage to laugh out loud again.'

Jon, computer analyst.

'Just wanted to share with you that when I got home, talking to a friend on a phone many hours later,  I notice last night my cheeks where rosy and sore from so much smiling.  The same feeling has been all day today, I’m also aware my laughter a work has gone up a few notches on the volume today at work. My thoughts of the event itself was ‘yes. Great fun. Really good’… having this silly smile on my face 24 later.. it now ‘yes. Great fun… truly amazing’.

Pls. put my email details on the mailing list (once it arrives) and by all means you anything I’ve said as testimonial in any marketing you like! Thanks '

'The workshop was just great.  What a total relief to get out of my head and just let go.  Really letting go with the laughing...my cheeks and tummy were aching after so much!!!  Thank you.  Amazing, after the workshop I seemed to have real energy coming from within and a sense of calm.  So, I will practice this amazing gift.'
